Bless is a ritual that instils the divine favour of your God of choice into you causing a temporary stat increase - every stat by +1. This will conflict with any stat item worn and therefore will be negated. The ritual bless uses the faith.rituals.misc.target/self skill and requires a block of incense which is consumed (incense from any guild shop or NPC priest is allowed).
When bless you receive this line when you're looked at: 'He is surrounded by a pale blue nimbus.'
Because bless increases every stat point by one, every bonus in your skills across the board will also increase, making it easier for you to fight, perform rituals, cast magic, or use covert tactics.
Duration is based upon the bonus of the performer in the faith.rituals.misc.self or faith.rituals.misc.target skill.
Bless is stackable i.e. duration can be increased with multiple blesses. Each time Bless is performed it uses 1 block of incense.
